I searched google video for Lenny Bruce and there was a clip of an item that is for sale. It appears to be google sanctioned but it asks for credit card details on an unsecured page. What is going on here?

google likes to use iFrames. Check to make sure that's not an iFrame displaying an encrypted page.

If you right/control click around that form, there should be a 'open this frame in a new window' option, if you're using safari and I think with firefox too. Click that, and when the page loads you should see the locked lock.
