My Mom had this Flash Uninstall screen pop up on her computer, and she asked for help.

I know Flash is dead, and Adobe wants you to uninstall it.
I just dont know if this screen is legit and from Adobe, or if it’s another one of those fake installers. (I wasn’t there when it popped up.)

just double checking before I click something bad.

thanks for your help!

If it just randomly popped up, I wouldn't trust it. I haven't used flash in years so I am not if that is standard or not. I would quit it via Activity Monitor and download the uninstaller from the Adobe site.

That looks typical of the dialogs I saw for Flash Player. Do you have it installed? If so, go into the Utilities folder and uninstall it from there to be sure.

The main problem I had with the Flash Uninstaller is that it always restarts Safari with a new window and as a result of uninstalling it, it's like Adobe got the last laugh on me as I closed that window, not realizing all of my previous tabs were now gone, some 20 or so.
So yeah, F Adobe to the bitter end!
