At first I thought it was a HP, but I just looked under the screen as r.j.s suggested, and yeah its a Dell.

Does have some similarities, nothing like the real thing tho... :rolleyes:

i think that might be the Adamo

you can tell from the hinges.

It does share a lot of similarities but the hinge is definitely different and the dimensions seem off to be a MBP- it seems too square (or that could just be me)

It looks halfway decent in black. Much better minimalist design than most of Dell's notebooks or *shudder* desktops. Nice.

As for this thread, it generally needs a large "FAIL" stamped on it. :p

The major thing on the black one that I don't care for as much is the way the coverplate over the screen meets the bezel -- it's somewhat inelegant. But really it's a big step up (to my tastes) from where Dell typically is, and it looks like the build quality is pretty ambitious.

Is the black a painted metallic case, or is the metallic looking one painted plastic?
