I got an email from Apple (Do_not_reply@apple.com) in regards to something I bought. The reference number matches the original confirmation.

The font is odd, like a type writer and doesn’t match orig confirmation font. When I clicked on it (didn’t click on any link or attachment) - all the messages in my inbox vanished instantly. I had hundreds of messages in there and it took like one second for all of the to vanish so I don't think it's something I did to delete/move them. I've tried to crash and reboot it but the emails are not in the inbox, only new ones coming in are there now.

This is on a MBP 2012 if that matters.

They are still there in “all mail” though and nothing changed on the other devices (iPhone / iPad).

What happen? I'm mainly worried that it's a virus or something that could put everything at risk.
