i've read that the 160 gb fujitsu is pmr. is the hitachi 160 gig a pmr. by the way its my 500th post! I did a forum search and couldn't come up with any thing. also a google search.

the hitachi travelstar 160gig is PMR, I think the Fuijitsu one is as well but it is slower as despite being a 5400RPM drive it actually only spins at 4200 RPM

How can a drive rated at 5400RPM only run at 4200RPM without someone suing them for false advertising? I'd definately feel let down if my 2GHz macbook only run at 1.5GHz...
