Simply put, the iPhone has a bluetooth chip. The iPod touch 2G has an unverified bluetooth chip used by the Nike+ app to talk with the shoe sensor. I was wondering (just for iPhones) if developing an app that lets people exchange pictures through bluetooth would violate the SDK terms and conditions? I know that apps are allowed to use the photos stored on the device, but what about bluetooth?

Bluetooth is not supported at all by the SDK, so yes any use of it would be a violation.

Thanks! Some people would have just said to read the SDK or search the forums. Glad you didn't. I'm a student/programmer so I was thinking of creative apps to write for the App Store. Most of the common ideas were already taken and I wanted to do something unique. Thanks for your time.
