I'm going to have an Apple TV on two floors of my house and I want to AirPlay music and video to both through iTunes on my MacBook Pro.

I'm aware I stream to multiple speakers with that option on AirPlay iTunes. What I can't do is stream music videos to multiple Apple TVs in the same way. I'd even be okay with streaming the video to one Apple TV and audio to the other one, but I'm not sure if that's possible to select.

Is there any way to handle multiple video streams through AirPlay?

Probably not. I've been on networks with more than one Apple tv, but we could only stream to one at a time.

Sounds like you would be better served by a Sonos system.

As long as you were using iTunes and your videos and music were in iTunes you could select from home share option on either or both Apple TV's at the same time. Not sure of your wanting to use iTunes though.

It can be done but tough to have them in sync. The trick is to send from the Mac book to one of the ATV and then have the other ATV select the same video on the MacBook. Once they both are playing you pause the one that is ahead then hit play again. I do this to send movies to 2 ATV in different rooms. I start and then immediately pause one, do the same on the other, then hit play on the remote and CPU at the same time. A couple quick pause plays and they are close enough in sync.
