Hi!
I registered on this board, because I am looking for the opinions from other iPad users. Recently I bought the current standard 2018 iPad and noticed some unevenness with the screens backlight.
I am aware that backlight bleeding is a common and almost inevitable issue with all kind of screens but since I don't have any kind of possibility to check how present the problem is at Apple produtcs I wanted to ask, if the amount of backlight bleed on my iPad is still normal. I know I have the option to exchange the device but I would like to save myself the trouble of getting a new iPad with the exact same issue, if it turns out to be within a normal range. So it would be very helpful to hear some other experiences!
Of course the image exaggerates the bleeding a lot (100% brightness in a dark room). It's not nearly this bad if seen with the naked eye. Only the marked yellowish light dots shine through in dark environments and at higher screen brightness. The red shimmer is also slightly visible.
The whole problem is not visible on any other colour.
If I know that the extent of this issue in my case is normal, I could perfectly live with. I just don't want to keep a faulty device, if I still have the option to change it.
Thank you very much vor any opinion!
