Is this backlid bleeding?

Hi Guys,

I get an dark black stripe at my iMac (mid 2007 or 2008).

It's best visable when i put my darkness at lowest setting and on white survaces.


Anyone know what this is?

No, but these early Aluminium iMac's are known for display issues, such as screen burn in. Your picture looks like display banding, where a strip of darker colors appear. Maybe you have had a window displayed on the same spot for a long time? :apple:

Don't think that's the case. The screen turns itself off after 15 minutes and when i'm walking away from it i always turn on my screensaver
