Hi everyone,
I just bought a refurbished macbook pro 13, and the screen seems to have a very slight backlight bleed to it. Is this acceptable, or do I return it and try getting another one?
And please post pictures if you have a similar level of backlight bleed on your MBP:)

Looks normal to me. I'd be more concerned about the 0.004mm gap around your number 4 key in the first photo. But seriously, stop looking for problems and just enjoy your purchase. Neither of those images you posted represent the normal use case for your computer. All LCDs look like that.

That looks pretty good. And until they install screens without backlights, some small level of bleed is something we will see when using computers in a dark room.

My rule of thumb is if it's noticeable then it's not acceptable plus screen is something you look at all the time. Mine has zero backlight bleed or uniformity issue at 100% brightness in the dark. I can't speak for you but for me to accept that light bleed it has to be discounted around 40% off list plus think of the resell value.

And another thing to note: My touch id button is loose. It has some play to its wobbly lol. Is this just me?

Oh nevermind that. That was my keyboard cover!
