I feel like my 10.5” iPad Pro battery has been draining more quickly recently in general, but I just lost 50% in 2.5 hrs (20% per hour). Screen was on full brightness and using Apple Pencil the whole time so it would make sense it would drain more quickly than the standard 10% per hour, but it still seems fast, so I want to make sure it’s not abnormal. My battery capacity is around 90% if I recall correctly.

Do a restart.

I have also been having battery issues with my 10.5 pro. I lose 10-15% of battery overnight in standby (and battery section in setting app shows no activity) and it seems to drain rather quickly during use. I probably get around 5 hours use out of it. I had apple check the battery remotely through online support and they said it was still in good condition (although they did not give me the % capacity of cycles). There are a couple of other posts on this forum about 10.5 poor battery life. Some seem to think it has to do with iOS 12.1.4, but I am not sure and have been trying different scenarios to try and find out what is killing my battery, but I have not found it yet. Things I have considered are WiFi interference and iOS exchange mail, but I have not found a consistent reason for the battery drain yet. FYI a reset does not fix this issue for me.
