found a new iPad Pro 9.7" 128GB wifi version in my area For $475. it is brand new in a sealed box. I know why not get the 10.5" new iPad Pro right? but that's $200 more after tax, and that's just the 64GB base model. I'm a casual user, just using it to watch news and movies. I bought the new iPad 2017 but returned it, the cheap screen and the extra thickness and heft just turned me off, since I came from an iPad Air 2 which I handed down to my 6 year old daughter.

I'd say go for it! I will say, after spending an hour with the 10.5", the display is just bonkers. I think it's worth every bit of $200 extra. But others may not. The point is, the 9.7" Pro is still an amazing tablet and 120Hz isn't that big of a deal to most people.

Well, that was quick lol. I changed my mind and just ordered a 10.5" 64GB rose gold from Costco right now. They're taking $30 off, and so far that's the best offer I've seen anywhere.

I'm considering getting a used one. A lot of people seem to be offloading them to get the new models. I have an iPad Air, which works fine. But that Affinity photo editor looks REALLY useful and requires more than an iPad Air (an iPad Air 2 or newer). It's hard to justify one of the new ones at $650. But I've seen a few iPad Pro 9.7" on eBay for about $300. I can trade in my iPad Air for about $110 somewhere (I forget if it was Target, Best Buy or Gazelle that offered that much) and so if I can nab one for that price, it's a whopping $200 or so upgrade.

B&H Photo is take free for most. That's 8-12% off and can save quite a bit more than $30. Just FYI.
