Hi I ordered an iMac for my mom and we're deciding to return it. Haven't opened the box yet.

Thing is, I ordered it online from Apple.com and the only option I changed was from the standard keypad to the standard numeric key pad as she enjoys using the numeric keypad to enter data in.

Am I eligible to return it? Is it considered a custom or build to order computer? (Although I highly doubt it since my 24'' came with it stock from the store before.)

Apple will accept the return, although there could be a restocking fee. It really just depends on when it was bought, shipping, etc. Your best bet would be to contact Apple.

Sorry to hear she didn't go through with it. The iMac is a great machine.
