Just wondering if it’s a dead pixel or dust inside the screen? And would you keep it still if it has this issue?

Looking at the color I would say stuck pixel. You have this under a lot of magnification. But if you see it on a white generated screen, it should be exchanged. Or rather, I wouldn't keep it.

A white screen should have obvious red, green, and blue sub pixels. You can see those on the edges of this photo. But they don’t show in the center where that purple spot is. Nor does the spot appear to be made of colored sub pixels. Therefore, I don’t think it’s a pixel. Maybe dust then?
