I was browsing through gamespot.com when this ad came up. I've never seen this knockoff before. Does anybody even know if this thing is real.

Cheap ploy to try and get you to enter your e-mail address so they can spam the **** out of you.

I thought these were all about "referring" people to paid programs, once you hit a certain number you get an ipod/x-box/wii/etc ?

Some of them may be. But the point of my post is that it was the actual iPhone and not a knockoff.

Nothing in life is free :D
 
I think the OP's point was that the image shown is not the iPhone, but merely a mockup of one that is poorly done, or else some knockoff of it (though unlikely).
