Is this "hybrid" possible - please recommend me a backpack ?

Hi !!!

Could you please recommend me a backpack ?

I just bought a 12" inch shinza sleeve for my ibook and I would like to buy a backpack to fit both.

I am looking for that the backpack, during my work-days, be able to fit some books and things used with the computer like cables, an ipod, and perhaps an external DVD burner.

I would also like to use the backpack when travelling, (usually during weekends), and be able to fit my camera, some clothes, and the ibook.

I know that there are many websites offering wonderful backpacks, however, your personal suggestions and opinions will be very valuable to me.

I use a Booq BP3 backpack and I love the thing. I recently purchased a Tucano messenger bag, but I really could not get used to it. I have a 15" PB and I fit a Booq Vyper sleeve to safe guard my PB in case it drops Go to http://www.booqbags.com to see their entire line of stuff. They also have a 2006 Python model out. Good luck! Yeah, the price range for the Booq bags are over your price range. Have you tried Targus or Crumpler? http://www.ebags.com has laptop backpacks in your price range. Look for their laptop backpack section.

uh, crumpler is definately way off his price range as well...


I think for 30-60 dollar ones you can still find a bookbag that will fit your needs. However it wont be any brand names. Targus seems like it might be your best bet.

ogio has some nice laptop backpacks. i have an ogio metro that's very big, with a slot for my laptop, ipod, and lots of other pockets.

bought mine on ebags. you can also find lots of them on ebay. mine was on sale for 40 or so and i had a discount coupon so it came down to about $35. they're normally available from $50-$70 though (not on sale). for a good backpack that's designed to carry a laptop, that's about the low-end of average. you might consider getting a "regular" pack and tossing your 'book/case in there.

whatever you get, try to get it on sale or with a coupon.
