That is the iPad I have. I really like it, and think that is a great deal. Though, can you live with 64GB?saw it on B&H Photo, gen3 iPad Pro 12.9 64GB cellular model on sale for $799 before tax, that's $350 off from msrp. is this a good deal being this is a previous gen Pro model?
that's a good question. normally i would say no, but this being a cellular model, if situation requires i can always stream if there's no wifi available, so no need to store all the movies on the ipad. That is the iPad I have. Not to mention that you could always buy an external SSD to store movies on.that's a good question. normally i would say no, but this being a cellular model, if situation requires i can always stream if there's no wifi available, so no need to store all the movies on the ipad.
Until Apple actually makes it a viable use case that is. External storage support was horrible in iOS 13. No idea hot it goes in iOS 14 but I’m not encouraged enough to test it out with the risk of damaging my own drive that has critical data on it.Not to mention that you could always buy an external SSD to store movies on.

^^^Exactly this^^^I have the 2018 11 and I actually prefer it to the newer models just because the camera is smaller and therefore doesn't rock on a table (first world problems eh? )
The processor (A12X vs Z) only has slightly better CPU and an extra GPU core, so you won't see any real world difference.
The only thing I'd be careful with is the storage as @jazz1 says - is 64GB enough? I got the 256GB mainly because I download a lot of Netflix shows for on the go, and have a lot of playlists downloaded in Apple Music - something that I don't have to worry about on my phone as it has an internet connection.
