After the disappointing announcement of the next-gen M2 iPad Pro 11" without Mini-LED, I'm in the market for a second-hand M1 iPP 11". I found a listing for €800, the iPad has been used for 1 year and 4 months but it doesn't have any scratches and has always had protecting film on it.

Do you think it's a good deal, or should I wait about a month after the M2 has been launched to see prices decrease?

It is absolutely a good deal, especially if you find a good sale on M1. Right now the M1 iPad Pros are $200 on Amazon.

if it's the base model I wouldn't really call it a good deal at that price. I would check the battery health via a desktop software like imazing
Having said that don't count on prices decreasing, if anything they are going to increase

It’s for a used iPad Pro 11" M1, wifi and cellular, 256 Gb.
Yeah in that case the price is good. My sister just got the same new for €1060/70, so I guess €250+ for going used it's fair, especially if the battery is still good (which after less than 1.5 years should not be too bad).
PS the equivalent M2 is now a crazy €1400.
