I haven't been able to find any definitive info on this, but it appears from a pic on the apple.com website that it's just a USB to 1/8mm headphone jack cable. Is that the case? If so, neat... although that will be a funny looking cable

Looks like this new headphone remote is the Apple standard from now on. I hope it doesn't become totally worthless after sweat like the old one. I use my shuffle for working out. I plan on sweating. If sweat will ruin the controls, kinda defeats the purpose...
