Very interesting. Looks like AT+T are looking for a halo effect of their own.

I wonder how many people will go into a store for the iPhone and leave with something completely different.

"Please do your part to remind every customer-serving employee, salesperson, or manager that it
isn’t all just about iPhone™. "

haha. what else is there right? it's all about iPhone™

I find this very funny. If you know about the iPhone and want the iPhone, chances are you are going to leave the store unless they have the iPhone.

how could anyone write that ---- with a straight face. How do you find out which stores are franchised and which are corporate, i realize you can call, but with a memo like this, i think they'd lie to you

Seriously... why do you think I left Cingular in the first place?? The iPhone must be doing something right if I'm willing to cancel my current contract and go back to AT&T.

Let’s go over to our computer and I will show you how to log
onto the Apple website where you can purchase your iPhone™.
Huh, so they're not going to be using AT&T's systems for iPhone purchases but Apple's? That seems a little "off".

All I get from this is: "You are going to get more customers because of the iPhone, sell them something other than the iPhone."

Great, I am switching to a cell company run by a bunch of ******s! Then again, it probably wont be to much worse than my current provider.

I think this was written for dealers that sell ATT wireless. Places such as Best Buy, Wireless Toyz, kiosks in the mall, etc. If it is an official ATT store they will have iPhones.

Basically what ATT is sayings: "Screw you dealers, we are keeping all the iPhones for ourselves. MUHAHAHAHA!"
