A refurbished 2.26 Mac mini with 4gb of ram and everything else base?

Might upgrade the 160GB Hard drive. Any suggestions on which hard drive to upgrade to, to make it faster?

It will run slower than a machine with better specs, but faster than a machine with worse specs.

Honestly your question doesn't really lend itself to a quantitative answer. The SDKs work perfectly well on almost every Intel machine.
