I’ve started get this webpage popup on my Mac. The related url is luckystreakzone.life. It shows up when I’m on chrome. Since switching to duckduckgo I haven’t seen it. Any ideas on how I can get rid of this?

Looks like many of those contest where you can win something if you allow them to give away your data to everyone for sending ads.

Already done something like this?

To answer the question - it's not a virus, just a spammy advertising pop-up trying to grab personal info.

If it keeps coming up when browsing to a certain website then it's likely that website hosting bad adverts. If it appears whenever you launch Chrome, even after you close all the tabs then it's likely your homepage in Chrome got set to it and doing a reset
To reset in Chrome enter chrome://settings/reset in the address bar and follow the instructions there. That should hopefully fix it for you ( and keeps bookmarks, passwords, etc intact)

I just got this page on Safari 17.6 when I checked college football scores on ESPN's web site. Is there a way to have Safari block this URL?
Holy crap I just experienced the same thing while on Chrome checking CFB scores. Is there a bad actor on their website?

They are just not getting adverts from a reputable source and allowing spammy/scammy ads to be shown.
An adblocker would be advised to block these (sadly this is ad blockers are necessary) - Adguard works well for me in Safari
