Looking to get a new gaming PC and was wondering if the spec below is hackintoshable to replace my early 2008?

You're better off checking at http://www.tonymacx86.com. It's probably too early to do Haswell hackintoshes. I seem to remember having to wait a bit when I did my Ivy Bridge build.

BTW, it's the motherboard and GPU you'll really want to make sure work. Aside from whether or not it's even possible to do Haswell builds yet, everything else should be fine.

Personally, I'd wait a month or 2 at least and until there are at least a few Haswell "Golden Builds" on tonymac.

I know nothing about the new Core i7 4770K. Is that better than the Core i7 39xx series processors. I know it's newer and should be better but...
I'd be tempted to keep that puppy as a PC for gaming. OS X isn't a great gaming OS. I don't think that Titan will work as well under Bootcamp as it would with a straight Win7 computer. I've got a 4GB GTX 680. It only runs with a PCIe 1.1 bus under Bootcamp.
Maybe GermanyChris or somebody could tell me I am wrong about this.

@OP I would build a hack quite yet unless you want to stay Ivy, better yet maybe look at this as a chance to leave the platform run Windows or Linux. You could then run OSX in a virtual so you'd have access to the must have Mac app's

No, the i5/i7 will be fed the same amount of data in the game. Gaming is one of those places that more cores doesn't mean better. Once you exceed 4 more doesn't buy you anything. In the end neither will bottleneck your single card. Compare costs and build the most appealing.

Motherboard features will be the main thing along with having to possibly wait for Haswell support. You may have issues getting things like sleep and audio working on the motherboard at first. That said, Gigabyte has long been the best choice for a Hackintosh mobo.

I've had good luck with Gigabyte but the best hackintosh motherboard I've had to date was a Z77 Sabertooth OC'd like a dream, and everything worked swimmingly after a bios flash.

If I decide to sell my MP and build another Hack it'll be on an x79 Sabertooth

I've had good luck with Gigabyte but the best hackintosh motherboard I've had to date was a Z77 Sabertooth OC'd like a dream, and everything worked swimmingly after a bios flash.

If I decide to sell my MP and build another Hack it'll be on an x79 Sabertooth

they've only been out a couple weeks so nothing technical. The standard Asus boards with gol trim look hackintoshable the audio's right ASM 1061 for the other additional SATA ports and an Intel NIC so it should work. If it's like the past though we're going to gave to wait for someone to modify the EFI. The extent of my skills are modifying the tonymac/macman ssdt's for my overclocks. Intel put out power supply specs and guidance for haswell nit to long ago so you might want to Google it and make sure your's is good to go. I'm going to get my 1,1 sold, then get the 4,1 sold, then the 30" ACD then I'll build Haswell. I figure that will take a couple months that'll give the smart people time to figure out and fix whats needed.
