A helmet would stand out more. Maybe some cloth, or similar. My guess would be, someone was wearing a helmet. Hockey, football or some sort of helmet when this was taken.
Looks pretty normal to me.
Don't try and be an image expert by judging a JPEG with lousy compression.

Skulls do not have straight lines, as seen on the right side of OPs image. It's just a normal X-Ray of a skull..That's what they look like on X-Ray.

Not surgery, as some of the lines extend past the head. You are correct. My only point was it's not photo shopped.
Could be surgery. Hard to say by looking on an image on the internet. You need a good dicom viewer to really say.
Hi this radiograph has a high exposure value so you cannot really make out the soft tissue (fat, muscle, skin) shadow, but otherwise looks fine. In an emergency setting they usually have head supports to immobilise the patient's head and the restraints/support can appear on the radiograph.Hello everyone!
I was hoping some of photoshop pros might help me. I need to know whether this Xray is photoshopped, particularly the head. Might you be able to tell me?
