Is this possible on the Mac?

Hey guys.
When I Airplay a video on my iPhone to the Apple TV, the video greys out and plays through the Apple TY, while everything else remains the same, which is very intuitive.

Is it possible to airplay ONLY the video from safari to the Apple TV?
I dont want to mirror the whole monitor, just the video, so i can go about doing normal stuff on my mac while the video is streaming

Seems like a logical feature, is it available?

On a Mac yes, via extending your desktop and then running the video on the alternative desktop.

Air Parrot would probably work too.

10.11 actually introduced this feature. You just hit the Airplay icon on the video and choose the Apple TV you want to play it on.
