I have approximately 30-40GB of files to transfer from a PC to my new (so-far unpurchased0 iMac. I was planning to put them all on my iPod in two shifts, then put them on my iMac from my iPod. I have around 12GB of music and the others are assorted word documents etc and photos. I was planning to put all the music onto itunes, which is where they are now. The photos in iPhoto and the documents onto office for mac 2004. I was wondering how i would make sure that all the files go into the correct places. I have no experience of OSX so i dont know where you find your files anywa so it would be useful if my photos were in iPhoto without me having to manually transfer them. Sorry for the longwinded question!
