Doesn't really give anything away. Chronic has been saying that status bars will be different in iOS 6, if that's it, that doesn't constitute a "UI Overhaul" in my opinion

Looks like a typical location services icon to me. In Mountain Lion it's like that if you have the solid menu bar.

I believe it. It's like Snow Leopard to Lion in terms of UI updates.
