Is this the WIFI issue everyone complains ?

Hey guys,

Lately I've been noticing that my Internet will drop, as in WIFI shows connected but I have no Internet on my iMac, although on other computers everything works fine.

After turning wifi off and on it starts working.
Is this the famous WIFI issue with Yosemite ?

Just want to make sure I don't have a hardware issue of some sort.

Did you do the latest Yosemite update that fixed this?

Yes I did.

Same thing.

I kept hoping that it was my ISP screwing me over, I even tried using VPN but even with VPN after a few hours the issue would come back
