Currently still on 10.3.3 and im practically craving iOS 11 features such as the new control center and the new animations. etc. Should I update? How is the iPhone 6 doing on iOS 11.1 beta 5? Is battery life finally stable? Is it slower than 10.3.3?

Given that the public release of iOS 11.1 is pretty much imminent at this point, it's probably better to at least wait for that.

I have jumped on the Beta releases in the past and liked getting new features - but this time around I have over 30 apps that will not work on iOS 11 - maybe the developers are not going to update the apps for iOS 11 or they are just late getting things done - but I am going to stick with 10.3.3 until more of these Apps are updated, compatible etc.

Dont. I would pass on the iOS 11 in general. I care about the perfomance on my iPhone. And for me the iOS 10 is better.

Wow, 30 apps? That's crazy. I only had like 3 that were incompatible, and they were oooolllllddddd games that I never play anymore, and some random app, so it was easy to delete and forget about.

DO NOT UPGRADE. I REPEAT DO NOT UPGRADE. iOS 11 is worse than iOS 10 in almost every way. Your battery life will halve

yeah it's crazy enough to hold off on the upgrade, about 10 of my incompatible apps are games (Qutictactoe, and Retro Pin Ball are fun - no longer on iTunes) but some others are purchased and often used apps that I will have to find an alternative if upgrading and probably purchase again.

Everything running fine on iphone 6 and ipad air - no real reason to upgrade and it seems like a lot of unhappy upgraders so far with iOS 11

I would wait for 11.1 to come out in the next few days, then start a thread about 11.1 on iPhone 6 and see what people say. It all depends on how you use your phone, so what is an acceptable iOS performance for you might be seen as a disaster by someone else. Unfortunately, at this point in time you cannot go back to 10.3, so I would post a poll in about a week from now:

iOS on iPhone 6 is:
1) good
2) bad
3) ugly

No, not with it. 11.1 should be out this week
