Is watching YouTube videos still better watching them on a Mac/PC vs a iPhone/iPad?

Talking about 4K quality videos.
I wish Google and Apple would get along and support 4K quality videos on the iPhone/iPad but I know it will not happen anytime soon
They do support HDR videos though
