My WebEx app stopped working, but WebEx's web interface still works. In other words, I can use chrome to participate WebEx meetings. But the WebEx app would not start. It would try to start and then crashed.

Anyone has a workaround:

I have done that twice; once using their tool and once with manual removal. But the WebEx Meetings app still does not work. Do you have the app run under Big Sur?
My advice was based on a report from one of the users I support in an Enterprise environment. They said they tried manual removal, and that didn't work, but then tried the Webex tool, and that fixed it.

I've also heard that the browser plugin works, if you don't mind using your browser as a Webex client.

I never upgrade production computers until I'm confident all our critical software works. (I don't block my users from upgrading, but I warn them that if things break, I'll "fix" them by wiping their hard drive and reinstalling Catalina.)

I strongly recommend against upgrading in the first 30 days of a major new OS release.

I'm good with WebEx, v40.11.4.15. And it still lets me share screen and share system audio. Most other apps lost their system audio sharing capability in the upgrade to BS.

Thank you. It works now! The WebEx tool indeed fixed it.

I usually don't update OS until later. However, my Mac Pro was having a number of issues with Catalina; e.g., lost USB drives, webcam, microphone, etc. I had to reboot to get them back. I formatted the system SSD drive and re-installed the OS. It did not help. Big Sur seems to have fixed all these problems!

After rebooting my Mac Pro, WebEx app stopped working again. I have tried the removal program but it does not help this time.
