I just recently bought my first iMac.

I don't really know if any of you are familiar with dailybooth. It's basically a photo twitter type place...anyway, you can take a picture to respond to people and everytime I choose to take a picture comment, I can't see camera...and my green light doesn't come on beside my webcam.

I don't know what to do for it to automatically detect that. Anyone have an idea..remember, I'm not all that familiar with my mac yet so be specific if you can with a response. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this will clarify anything or not but it says underneath that "if you can't see yourself right click for settings (flash player 10) and make sure you have the right webcam selected.

and it shows that i have a dv video selcted. and gives me the other options of a usb camera or an IIDC Firewire Video...

Like I said, I don't know if that helps at all or not but..

Hmm, maybe a simple thing to do would be to open Photo Booth in your applications and make sure your iSight camera works.

Thats all I can really suggest, obviously if your iSight camera does work, then its another problem like you were describing, in which case, I will be of no use, sorry.

Youre iSight is connected to your USB bus. choose the USB option and it will show up.
