I'm trying to use my iSight for photobooth, but its saying that its being used by another program, I've tried rebooting, and no luck.

I tried closing everything and I got the same message.

help!

Have you ever successfully used Photobooth? If so, what programs have you installed, and what changes have you made since.

Edit: Do you have iMovie open, perhaps?

whew.

after a few restarts after photobooth crashing today
it finnaly worked.

I dunno what it was.

sorry about the late post I was out all night.

When say "crashing", do you mean photo-booth or your whole computer?
I'm assuming you mean just photo-booth.
When it did crash, did you get a crash report dialog?
Because after an application crashes three times, the crash report asks you if you want to make a new .plist file for that program (photo-booth in this case). You may have hit "OK" without knowing it, thinking it was just asking you to send Apple the crash report.
If so, thats probable why it's working now.
