iSight not working on MB

Hi,

My girlfriend bought a macbook 2 months ago and now the iSight is not responding.
I tried with diferent aplications and I did a SMC reset but it's still not wokring.

any ideas?

after the 10.4.8 update mu isight on my MB is not working anymore. When I open Photobooth it says that Isoght is not conected or a different application is using it. In the Sysprefs under USB is no iSight to be seen. I looked around on the Aplle forums and plenty of people seems to have this or a simliar problem, but no real solution to offer.

Any idea besides asking Applecare?

Same Issue

I'm having the same problem with my Macbook. My iSight stopped working for me as well for absolutely no reason. When I open Photo Booth, I get the error, "No camera attached or camera being used by another program". I also can't access my camera through Users or any other of my programs. I'm not quite sure what to do or what I did to cause this to happen.

Call Apple dude, seriously. If you've found that nobody on the APPLE forums has had any solutions, what makes you thing we're going to have any???

Have you just upgraded to 10.4.8 ? Just wondering if there's a pattern. I'm waiting for 10.4.9. to see if it fixes it OR then I will do an archive and reinstall first.. then call Apple. Apple repairs in Finland are not as fast and I don't want to loose the laptop presently (needing it each day for a course).
