Why do you want an iSight, out of interest? If you want it as a collector's piece then fair enough, but if you actually want it to use as a webcam, it's a very poor choice by modern webcam standards.

AVR2 is correct, they are way out of date. I bought a barely used one last year, which is okay, but I must say it is looking a bit antique these days sat on top of my ACD.
Unless you can buy one that has never been used, I would not expect much life span from a second hand one since it is a few years now since Apple stopped making them.
They were great in their day, but other manufacturers have now made better compatible and quality models, for Mac users who don't have a screen with a cam already installed.
If you really want one, you pick one up off ebay.

I just can't believe the prices on eBay. It's more expensive to buy an obsolete second-hand iSight that maxes out at 640x480 than it is to buy a brand-new webcam that gives you 2 megapixels and a full warranty

Why *do* people still buy external iSights? They've got dinosaur performance, so it must simply be because they look good.

Hmmmm... maybe I should sell mine :D

No kidding. Seams like all Apple hardware is like that. Good I guess if you ever want to sell some of it.
