iPod Iskin Claro Issue

I just got an Iskin Claro from ebay and am having an issue. The front face plate does not lock into place, and when the Ipod is held vertically the plate doesn't make contact with the back portion and there is a millimeter or so gap. Also, because of this, the front screen slides off easily. Is this common to the Claro or is this item faulty?
