i just got an iskin cover as a gift for my new mbp, and while i am not one of the heat freaks u read about here and elsewhere, but is it a good idea? it seems if the cooling input is the keyboard and this thing is almost a prophylactic that covers the entire keyboard area, how is the air going to get in?
i am not really worried as i know, at least in the sony world, heat is not a big deal unless you mind burning your skin when u handle one. i have a tr3 with a broken fan and in the summer it's running non-stop as a server at 80+. in the winter it runs cooler
its been like that now for 2 years well beyond the warrenty period. i suspect the mbp is a lot more heat resistent then the cheapo sony...so why worry? hmmmmm...where is that apple care link?
