I bought this iSkin keyboard rubber thing for my G4 Powerbook 15.

Is it OK to leave it on while closing the lid for transport from home to office? I don't want it to mess up the screen or unspring the hinge mechanisms on the cover, if you know what I mean.

The downside of taking it off before closing the lid is that it's likely to get dirty and pick up lint in my briefcase.

Thanks

I think the only other down side to leaving the iSkin on is that the oil/grime from your fingers could be touching your screen.

Just do as iSkin suggests; wash your iSkin regularly.

And regularly clean off your LCD (I use iKlear).

I to leave my skin covering on my PB all the time. I also use the protective sheet that came w/said 'book and at times a regular sheet of printer paper as a barrier between the skin and the screen.

If I use my microfiber protector and iSkin, it looks like my computer is putting pressure on the LCD when I close it. Not sure if it is though, so I take the iSkin out. Not really sure about it all...
