I was reading reveiws on apple.com and one of them said that it one of the keys was stuck to the screen and damaged the display as well as the keyboard. Another said it blocked the fans and made the macbook hotter.

Now I am wondering if I should just return it when it arrives.

I've have the iSkin on both my Macbooks and neither have had heat issues. Though with the first Macbook, the iSkin did leave marks on the LCD screen so I then purchased a clear screen protector. No problems with the keyboard protector and LCD screen on the second Macbook. :D :apple:

I've had an iSkin on an iBook for three years now. It does make marks on the screen -- people have called them "scuff" marks, but actually, at least in my case, they come off. Interestingly (this is a *matte* screen), a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is actually perfectly safe and very effective at getting these off the screen. I lived with the marks on the screen for a while because other methods didn't work to get them off, and then finally, I lost patience and tried this, and it worked. The screen looks as good as new. I'm not sure what would happen on a glossy screen, though.

If you want to be really careful, then there is always the option to take the iSkin out and/or use one of those pieces of cloth that lay in between the screen and the keyboard to protect the screen.

No probs with mine

Had mine for a while on my MBP and no probs but I do have a microfibre cloth that I lay on top to protect the screen just in case. (Me fussy?) :p

If you can believe Core Duo Temp readings my MacBook on average ran a couple of degrees warmer with the iSkin in place. I've since stopped using the iSkin as I didn’t like the feel of the keys when installed and I could never keep the corners from lifting-up.
