Isle of Wight Festival Aerial Photos

Hi Everyone!!

Today I went up in our plane and took some pictures of the Isle of Wight Festival!! I think my pictures give a pretty good perspective on how big the event was!! Share some of your own aerial photos too!!

This photo shows the south end of the festival area, Lots of tents!!

This photo show the whole length of the festival, Southern end at the botton, north at the top. About 3/4 of the way up is the main performance area (near the big blue marquee).

This one shows the main stage off to the left of the picture.

This one shows the whole festival, with the southern end at the top of the picture. The main performance area is at the bottom of the photo.

And another. There arent many people out btw if your hadn't noticed! these were taken at about 11am. My guess is that everyone is still sleeping!

Last one of the whole festival. Performance area is near the top end of the photo, and then tents ect at the bottom

Was a very good weekend, at points I didnt have a voice nice to see these pics on here, very random place to find aerial images.

I've never been to the IOW, it doesnt seem to look like my cup of tea (i do lots of teeny tiny festivals all through the summer)..... but i do appreciate festi photos....
