The iPhone is supposed to automatically go to standby after a period of inactivity, right?

Well, I've had a hunch over the last few weeks that it wasn't turning itself off, so tonight, I left it on without touching it, playing video, etc. I had it just showing a text message pane, and it's been on for over half an hour. Isn't it supposed to turn off by now?

Thanks.

hi

settings-->general-->auto-lock-->?
there you can set the auto-lock time...
if it's allready set to anything other than "never"...
have you rebooted it yet?

Wow, I'm a moron. I always thought that dealt with the passcode lock. :rolleyes:

Thanks, and welcome to the boards.
