Isn’t the long stem on gen1+2 ... a good thing?

Easier to safely remove from ears, hold onto , and store in the case I would think no?

The new ones look alright but my eyes are trained to see older style AirPods they look almost bootleg to me haha

Unless you’re pulling the buds from the stem how is that possible to be easier to pull out of the case?


For the other nah I don’t have an issue compared to the OG

I like the shorter stem because it gets caught in my long hair less.

Shorter stem also won’t get caught if you leave them in whilst removing t-shirts etc.

Nope. Nothing wrong with Gen 1 and 2 but when I compare my pros to the precious gens, that long stem looks dated
