I have slowly started to rip my DVD collection (300+ movies 100+ tv show seasons). I wanted the absolute best possible quality from the DVD, along with EVERYTHING on each disc, so I have decided to rip them as ISOs. This is going to be a long process, and I only ever want to have to rip everything once, which is also why I am ripping to ISO.
Is there anyway for an ATV2 so that it can play ISO files, as if it were a DVD player and handle each ISO as an individual dvd? I know this will require jailbreaking, I have used Plex on Roku boxes for playing AVI files, and would love a similar interface to stream my DVD collection.
If it is possible I would assume it will also be possible on the upcoming ATV3 once a jailbreak is released. If it is not currently possible, chances of this feature being developed for the ATV3?
