Issue after update - Finder - HOME

Hi, I just did a update on my MacBook Pro M1 and on restart my desktop which was lovely and clean has now mirrored my iMac's cluttered screen and I no longer find my HOME within finder. Please see the pics (mine is missing the home / house symbol and I've also attached a screenshot from YouTube of a user who does have his name in Finder - Ryan Nangle ). Thanks

Thats the example that I want / used to have.....my current layout is the first image / attachment and it's gone.

Sadly not, I'm afraid.
Same AppleID perhaps? Is Desktop ticked for sharing and has downloaded automatically?
Not my area of expertise but somebody here will know 👍
