Hi,

Just got a D-link Router which i've set up simply as a wireless access point. The device works mine (wirelessly) on my Macs and PCs.

Problem is, the Apple TV doesn't. My question is; what is the preferred method of password protection for the ATV? I usually use WPA-PSK but in Typical Windows/Apple style, they use totally different terms. (try and find WPS-PSK on your Mac!). On a Mac or PC you can change the Security method to suite your router bt I've not been able to find such settings on the ATV

The ATV works fine when I turn of wireless security.

Any help would be great.

I'm having this problem too with my DIR-655 model. Had to turn off WPA Personal in order for it to find my network and connect. Did you ever get a solution?

I have a D-Link DIR-655 (latest firmware) using WPA-2 in mixed G/N and it's working great.

I know that doesn't help, but I just wanted to let you know that you should be able to get it to work.
