I recently moved a bunch of folders from PC to IPad. Some of the folders are empty, others have only PDFs, and some are completely fine.
All of the folders had media files - photos, procreate files and brushes, etc.
I could be wrong, but it seems the folders missing files are the ones that had DS_Store and other "._" files when I unzipped them on my PC. I deleted the original zip folders when I saw they had unzipped correctly. I deleted the "._" files, as I've done for years, as they seem to be unnecessary.
I've never had issues moving files on my 2018 iPad. This is on a 2020 iPad pro 12.9 running iPadOS 15.2.
Any insight into why these files disappeared is greatly appreciated.
