Hello

I have some weird issue with my Iphone 12 Pro max camera.

when i make pictures in low light i have some non standard items (like visual text) that appeares without any reason . What is the real issue is the fact that if i perform the same picture in the same situation with a different Iphone 12 Pro Max there is no issue at all.

Tks!
And in this case what is the solution , as you know ?
Lens flare comes from reflection inside the lenses. there is no solution in the iphone other than to avoid taking pictures like that of bright light sources.
Either move the camera a bit so that the reflection is out of sight or you have to post process with photoshop e.g.

Is this behaviour something standard for Iphone 12 Pro Max or shall i try to change the phone via warranty ?

This happens on all iphones in some degree. maybe on the 12max its more dominant as it has increased low light capabilities.

I would say on almost all cameras but some have better antireflection coatings.

It is an issue with all camera lenses. On DSLR's one solution is to use a lens hood, which will prevent reflections from the side lighting, but not head on lighting.
