Once in a while and I mean once in a while my macbook when put to sleep has its fans on full blast. I have to force it to showdown. The screen goes blank.
I took it to the apple store and the apple genius reset the Pram and reset something else. He has never heard of this issue before and told me to come back if I had anymore issues. He went to the back room with my laptop to see if it would do the same thing to him and it did not. Has anyone had this issue before? Thank you

Only time I've seen that was on a Dell desktop computer whose BIOS was corrupted after a failed update. It had no workable BIOS to boot off of, so its response was to rev the fans up to max, turning the computer into a windtunnel.

But the MacBook doesn't have a BIOS, so it can't be that...
