hi guys

I just downloaded Tidal to experience flac quality in the B&O sound system via USB.

When playing Apple Music through the USB to MMI, there is no issues - as the library shows up by default.

There doesn't appear to be any option to select another app for the source - such as Spotify or Tidal.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

Re: Audi tt 2015 with Virtual cockpit

Thanks!

I too have the virtual cockpit. Apple Music integration with Audi MMI is pretty slick. Prior to that I was using Deezer, and for that to work I would usually have to open up the app and start playing it from there. Even then it was flakey. That’s one of the reasons I committed to Apple Music, as the integration was better.

Damn.
Did you ever figure out an issue free non Apple Music implementation?

Even if it would work, I don't think Audi/B&O uses an 24-bit/192 kbps dac in their system or even support flac files. In my experience almost no car has a reasonable dac in them or even have basic support for flac files and if it has flac-support it downgrades it to 24/44hz at most.

In the end the B&O/Bose/B&W demeanor is not much more than a badge and some upgraded speakers.

Mmm i dont know about that but there is a distinct difference from bluetooth to usb, which i think is 128kbs to 256kbs jump.

Are you saying even if flac was supported, you dont think it matters even with b&o?
