So I do a lot of live concert video recording. I have never ran into any type of problem with the audio until recently. Seems like something with the bass is not processing with the microphone correctly and it’s creating a popping effect. I had Apple run diagnostics on it and nothing with the hardware was found. For info, I am running the 17 beta. Tried to attach an example and file is too large. Here is an example from Instagram, all the videos has varying degrees of it:
Video
I’m used to varying degrees of sound quality due to the volumes but these have been extreme variations that make them kinda unlistenable. Any advice on fixing the problem? Most difficult thing is I can’t test it until I’m kind of in that setting and can’t really tell what’s working until it’s over.

It sounds like distortion to me...as if the microphone is being overloaded because the noise is too loud.

How does it perform if you record video in a quieter environment?

Perfectly fine. The issue though is that this never happened before. The microphone would adjust and filter the sound to a reasonably good sound quality.
